July 2009 by Martha Linscott It is truly amazing what the Future Legends program has done for our daughter. Maeve has shown tremendous improvement in her foot skills and dribbling ability. I remember giving Maeve a soccer ball and asking her to dribble it. She looked at me in utter amazement. How was she supposed to do that? At tonight's practice, Maeve was dribbling the ball while running! I don't think she knows what she has mastered. The Future Legends program has done a wonderful job showing our daughter the fundamental foot skills all soccer players need. I can't wait to see what she does next! |
| July 2009 by Scott Boxberger My son, Joshua, absolutely loved HappyFeet. The coaches are always high-energy, the environment is fun and low-stress. After learning some basic skills, he was ready to try new challenges. We recently started the Future Legends with Coach Jamie. It's been a wonderful experience. Jamie continues the same fun, positive environment that we saw with HappyFeet, but adds additional skills and games/drills. The kids work hard, but it's always in the contex t of having fun playing games that allow them to think they're goofing around when they're really enhancing their skills. Joshua always comes home tired, but ready to show off the latest skill he learned. |

May 2009 by Ivan and Marigold Tenorio Jace was part of the Future Legends program in 2008. He started the program with Andrew Clifton and continued with Geoff Miles. The program was great for him as it encompassed fun soccer games and at the same time learning deceptive dribbling skills and most importantly, confidence with a soccer ball. Future Legends was a great stepping stone for Jace in playing the game of soccer as it led to him playing in higher age groups since he develope d tremendously under the program's guidance. The coaches encourage the kids to take the risk to try moves and also make up a move or combine skills to look funky which Jace loves to do and still does. As his parents, we fully backed the program and the Legends philosophy it introduces to the kids. We have recommended it to many of our friends with kids looking to play soccer. |
